heed ye golden rule. while it may seem vulgar, it’s an important life lesson to remember that no matter how hard you try, you’re not the main character.
Rules
- See Golden Rule.
- No Griefing: This includes but is not limited to: Other user’s builds, public areas, pets, horses, “pet” mobs of any sort(killing or stealing). Only exception to this are public crops, which must be replanted once harvested.
- This is PVE or Creative. PVP in all forms are restricted to designated areas for such activity and indirect PVP and/or causing another player’s death intentionally is subject to discipline up to a ban. This also applies to intentional player traps.
- Builds should be open for exploration. Exceptions to this are on a case by case basis and are largely restricted to areas where players/mechanics/protected mobs would be at risk.
- No spamming, advertising other servers, excessive posting of links to your content (streaming or otherwise.) Please
- “Rule lawyering” will always work against you. Moderator decisions may be appealed to Administration within reason, but you should assume that actions taken for the good or peace of the server will stand as originally decided. If you find joy in being disruptive and pushing people’s buttons, this is not the place for you.
- A handful of the unacceptable forms of speech anywhere on the Fake Minecraft systems: Homophobia, Racism, Doxxing, Harassment, Trolling excessively, etc. Admin/Moderator action on this is final, and doubly so when other topics arise where people cannot be reasonable adults about the discussion.
- Cheating: Don’t. No hacked clients, no xraying for ores, no flying, no mods that allow you to basically enter spectator mode, etc. This also applies to “duping” valuables by taking advantage of Minecraft bugs, etc.
- No inappropriate skins (no nazis, no nudes, etc.)
- Approved Client mods: As long as they are not hacks, or do not provide an advantage via glitch or other method such as described above, you should be fine. Some of our favorites are Minimaps/World Maps, Inventory sorting, enhancements to Villager Trading, Chat organization, Distant Horizons.
- Be aware of your lag. Don’t breed a million animals, don’t build redstone lag machines on purpose, try to minimize your hopper usage/etc. Builds that are showing to create an excessive amount of lag will be asked to be redesigned and/or removed by Admins/Mods as necessary.
